Friday, April 24th at 7pm, The Fashion Foundation
is headed back to school to attend Cold Spring Harbor High’s spring
fashion show! The stage is set for a memorable night, as students of Ms. Bailey Whitney’s fashion class will host this special event
in front of the entire school! Not only will the students be displaying fashion items that they made themselves, they'll also have student performances, and an auction of donated items to raise funds. We will have a
table and bins set up during the event so that we can give info and
collect clothing donations to post for sale on our website. $10 tickets will be on sale for public purchase the week of the
event, so you don’t want to miss it!

We could not post this announcment without sincerely
thanking Ms. Whitney and her incredibly thoughtful students. The class was
looking for charities to donate the proceeds from their upcoming show and had
heard about the Foundation by Google searching Long Island charities. Inspired
by our mission and impressed with our website, they told Ms.
Whitney that they wanted the money they raised to go to the children that need
it the most. Our founder Amanda was fortunate enough to meet these young ladies
that have worked so hard to organize the show. The students’ enthusiasm,
generosity, and desire to partner with us to make an impact, inspired Amanda
beyond words that she provided the class with free t-shirts and Fashion
Foundation backpacks as a thank you.
Once again, we here at the Fashion Foundation want to thank
Ms. Whitney, her fashion students, and Cold Spring Harbor High School for
randomly choosing us to be a part of this wonderful event. As a quick reminder, with the warm weather
rolling in, we encourage you to search for clothing that may no longer have a
place in your wardrobe. We will sell it to the people who will put the items to good use. In return, we will use the money we raise to purchase school supplies for the underprivileged
students who need our help the most.
Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook.
